γενέσθω
The Greek word γενέσθω (pronounced ghen-ÉS-tho) is a - third-person singular aorist imperative middle form - of the verb γίγνομαι, which means "to become" or "to come into being."
An invocation for word and vision to manifest, through action, into existence.

Παλίμψηστον
A Palimpsest – Παλίμψηστον – speaks to layers of script, where older texts are scraped away to make room for new, yet traces of the original remain. It comes partly from an era of necessity, where paper was so valuable as to warrant it's continual reuse centuries after creation. Knowledge is monument, a wisdom upon which each generation adds its layer. Today our children have access to unprecedented amounts of information but lack coherent frameworks for making sense of it all. Traditional educational and cultural institutions don't provide adequate tools for understanding rapid technological change and global complexity.
History without wisdom is myth and Wisdom without history is a recursive madness.
It is through the aggregation of our perspectives on observed reality that we gain alignment with a metaphysical "truth," logos, and will. This realization takes form within a republic, fostered by an environment of intellectual humility. In every successful society, prior to breakthrough, we see the pattern manifest.1 From the Library of Alexandria, The Platonic Academy, The House of Wisdom in Baghdad, The Republic of Letters (The New World → Europe → The Middle East), or the democratization and decentralization of information via the internet. 2
These institutions have always been founded and preserved by Geistesgeschichte, an ἀριστοκρατία (aristocracy.) While it would be hubris to imagine ourselves as such, I hope the culmination of perspectives, openness to dialogue, and iterative approach can rival the emergent genius we've seen be told as tale time and time again.
This vault of information aims to seed that pedagogical descent into a shared human narrative of history.3 In the face of generations of hopelessness, and teleological disorientation, a new understanding founded in science and an enduring perspicacity of mentalities is need. Now more than ever, before frames of reference can be algorithmically distorted by ideological actors, and before truth becomes a luxury commodity in a marketplace of manufactured consensus.

The teacher's role had become producing the simplest possible artifact and then getting out of the way. The Palimpsest is the same gesture at a different scale: not a tutorial but a crystallization of a worldview -- the "few bits" that agents cannot generate on their own -- a framework for the human narrative and truth, rendered legible enough that any future intelligence can relay it, adapt it, and teach from it in ways no single author could. ↩
